Ok so my followers dropped recently :( so I decided that I would look back at old blogs to see if I said something wrong...... BUT I notice that I wrote something completely off of what I mean't.

Big News!!

So.... I have big news and it's one reason why I haven't blogged lately:) Before I say the huge news I want to k ow how everyone's weekend went????? Mine was relaxing we went to our family's beach house in Bolivar, TX:) We went to share the news to my family :) Let's see if you can guess it... First... I have been sleeping and napping :)

DIY Crafts

DIY Crafts :)


So my cousin is getting married December and asked me to try some DIY crafts for her and this is what I came up with..... this is the the first time I have ever done anything like this :)

They are called Cowgirl Cookies and you can find these on Pinterest :) Just but in Cowgirl Cookies in the search bar. These are the wedding favors :)

Ok.... so after I did this next craft she told me that she rather me be her rock and support and that I do not need to create anything else hahahahah that was a BIG sign to stop.... do not look at the one on the right she wanted the one on the left.... lace wrap jars down the aisle.  I think I will stick to being her rock :)

MakeUp MOnday!!!!!!

Ladies I want to apologize for not blogging in awhile! As some of you know I am a Professor and I just started my summer classes and its been crazy! On the other hand I am helping my cousin with her wedding which I will have some DIY things I made on my Sunday Funday :) I love planning weddings they are so much fun!!!! So it's MakeUp Monday and today I am showing...........

Here I am wearing the amazing Bronzer while playing with my adorable son Maverick!!! We are at our favorite place Gruene, TX at the amazing Winery at the Gruene :)

The other thing I love about this bronzer is the inside....

It says "You look absolutely Purrrrfect!!!" Which we all do :)

Makeup Monday

So I know its late but better late then never right :) I am not doing makeup this Monday but I am doing a hair device (I figured we could change it up a little bit) :)

Here it goes...................

Here I am after using this wonderful gadget:) I will admit I never thought I would use anything but CHI but this gadget was AWESOME! I can't wait to use it on a date night with my hubby :)

Ok so here goes my new hair do and my WHOLE outfit ...(I use to work at JCREW through college and the mannequins never matched cause they want the customer to view every product in the store.... keep this in mind).....

               and

I am only wearing JCREW and its mustard shorts, turquoise shirt, and black and grey stripe cardigan. 

(turquoise and musard yellow are my favorite colors)

Have you ever done a new outrageous hair do or crazy mix match outfit??? I want to know:)

OK so I know today is makeup monday and I will post shortly about it BUT we have a new addition to our family!! BARkLEY-ANN :)

SO I think I might start making homemade dog treats (organic) what do you think?? I could sell them as well :)

So "that gal" is a brightening face primer which is awesome to use in the summer and the other one is a All Match foundation. 

THis might be corny but when I opened the box it came like this..... and it HAD MY DAY :) I get happy over little things :)

I completely forgot to blog about our crawfish boil we had for Easter!! (sorry ladies) MY family had a blast at our family beach house in Bolivar,TX :) Here you go....some pictures of the family :)

I Love Sundays

My Sunday was full of a FUN bloggers meeting, shopping with a good friend Amanda, and playing Tee ball with my son :)

Have you ever met anyone famous?

Have you ever met anyone famous and it was an amazing experience? I met Pat Green in Apsen and I had the best time ever and he was so nice and sweet!

Here is the recipe:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
l 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 cup red food coloring (2 ounces)
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line muffin cups with paper or foil liners.In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Add oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat on low speed of mixer for 30 seconds; increase speed to medium and beat for 45 seconds or less (just until mixed).
Spoon batter into lined muffin pan, filling each cup 3/4 full.
Bake in hot oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in cupcake center comes out clean. Cool on wire racks for 5 minutes before removing cupcakes from pan.
Frost as desired.
Makes 18 2.5 inch cupcakes.
Note: If you don't have buttermilk, plain or vanilla yogurt can be thinned with milk to the consistency of heavy cream and used as a substitute. Powdered buttermilk is available near the dry milk at your supermarket and is convenient to keep on the shelf. Don't substitute regular milk in this recipe.

Servings: 18 - 1 2.5 inch cupcake
